St. Francis-Brooklyn at Fairleigh Dickinson – 3/1/23 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The St. Francis (NY) Terriers and the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights will face off in the quarterfinals of the Northeast Conference Tournament from the Rothman Center.

St. Francis wrapped up at 14-15 after losing to Fairleigh Dickinson in Jersey. The Terriers kept up with the Knights early, but they’d fall behind in the second half and lose by seventeen, 86-69. SFU is scoring 80.6 points per game, while allowing ppg, and shooting 45.8% from the field.

St. Francis struggles offensively, but they were able to pick up some wins in conference play with a stingy defensive approach. The Terriers went 7-9 in Northeast play, with a 4-10 road record. Leading scorer Rob Higgins has been out since January, and the production offensively has been scarce. Now, Junior forward Josiah Harris has been a difference maker in the frontcourt, and after recording double-doubles in seven of the last eight games. Freshman guard Zion Bethea came into his own down the stretch, and after scoring 20 points in the finale versus FDU, he’s averaging 10.4 ppg.
