South Alabama takes to the road in their first conference game of the season. The Jaguars are 6-6 on the season after closing their non-conference schedule with three straight wins. They are just 1-4 on the road this season. Last Wednesday, before taking a holiday break, South Alabama defeated Jacksonville State 71-66 at home. Tyrell Jones led the way with a career-high 18 points to go along with seven rebounds. Elijah Ormiston dropped 10 points off the bench and Kevin Samuel had 11 points to go along with nine rebounds. Southern Alabama committed just six turnovers in the win.
