Seattle Kraken vs. Minnesota Wild Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 11-3-2022

The Seattle Kraken face the Minnesota Wild with both teams off to strong starts to the season. The Kraken have a 5-4-2 record and have won back-to-back games. The Wild have a 5-4-1 record and with two wins in a row, have leaped to the top of the Central Division. Both teams are looking to improve in the Western Conference and the upcoming game looks to be a great one as result.

The Kraken have looked promising to start the season with their offense scoring 3.45 goals per game including 17 goals in the last four games. Jaden Schwartz, Matthew Beniers, and Andre Burakovsky have scored 13 goals and 15 assists to lead the top two lines but the entire offense has stepped up to start the season. Jared McCann, Jordan Eberle, and Oliver Bjorkstrand have combined for seven goals and 15 assists while defenseman Vince Dunn has added a goal and six assists from the point to help open up the offense.

The offense has stepped up but the defense has been awful this season, allowing 3.45 goals per game. Adam Larsson and Carson Soucy have combined for 1.6 defensive point shares and 31 blocked shots but the rest of the unit has struggled, allowing opponents to generate shots on the net with ease.
