San Diego vs Portland Prediction – Basketball Picks 3/2/23

The San Diego Toreros and Portland Pilots face off on Thursday in a college basketball showdown in the West Coast Tournament at Orleans Arena. When these two teams faced off on February 2nd it was Portland that secured the 80-61 victory. 

San Diego comes into this game with an 11-19 record overall and they have gone 10-18 against the spread. The offense has been strong this season averaging 77.2 points while their defense is giving up 80.1 points per game. On the other side of this matchup is Portland who sits with a 13-18 record overall and they have gone 13-16 against the spread. In the last game against Pacific, Portland scored 77 points but it wasn’t enough as they lost by four points. Portland is averaging 77.5 points while their defense is giving up 76.6 points per game. They want to push the pace but the defense at times has also been an issue. Moses Wood is averaging 15.5 points while shooting 44.8 pecent from the field and 40.3 percent from behind the three point line.
