The San Diego Torreros will travel to Tempe and take on the Arizona State Sun Devils from Desert Financial on the Pac-12 Network.
San Diego dropped to 5-5 after losing to Cal Baptist at home. The Torreros lost their third game by one possession and fell to Lancers for the second season in a row. USD is scoring 79.5 points per game, while allowing 74.1 ppg, and shooting 33.5% from the floor.
The Torreros have four reliable scorers, and Jase Townsend leads the way. The 6’4 guard scored 24 points against NMSU, and he paces the team in scoring (16.3). Two-time transfer Eric Williams Jr. is thriving in his new environment. The 6’7 swingman went for a school record 43 points against Utah State, and he’s scoring 15.2 ppg, while leading USD in rebounding (10.4).
