Detroit at Eastern Michigan – 12/18/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Detroit Mercy Titans will head to Ypsilanti and face the Eastern Michigan Eagles in non-conference action this Sunday on ESPN.

Detroit Mercy fell to 5-6 after losing to Charlotte in the Queen City. The Titans and the 49ers would need overtime to decide a winner, and the hosts would prevail down the stretch for the two-point win. Detroit scores 74.7 points per game, while allowing 76.4 ppg, and shooting 42.4% from the floor. Fifth-year guard Antoine Davis is still bringing the pain for the Titans, and he’s set to go down as one of the highest scorers in college basketball history. Davis went for a season-high 28 points in the loss to Charlotte, and he leads the nation in scoring at 24.3 ppg.

Eastern Michigan dropped to 2-9 after falling to Niagara in New York. The Eagles took the lead into the locker room, but they squandered another second half lead to drop their fourth straight game. EMU scores 74.5 points per game, while allowing 81.7 ppg, and shooting 45.2%  from the field. The tandem of Emoni Bates and Noah Farrakhan has delivered excitement, but not winning results just yet. Bates is one of the top prospects in the country, and he combined for 55 points against FAU and FIU, and now leads EMU with 19.4 ppg. Farrakhan paced the team with 21 in the loss to Charlotte, and he now averages 13.8 ppg.
