The Rutgers Scarlet Knights (16-10, 16-10 ATS, 11-15 O/U) meet with the Wisconsin Badgers (15-10, 11-14 ATS, 13-12 O/U) in a Big Ten battle on Saturday afternoon. The Scarlet Knights dropped a home decision to Nebraska on Tuesday. The Badgers posted a big home win against Michigan in their previous clash. Each squad recorded a road win in last year's two meetings.
The Rutgers Scarlet Knights are striving to snap a three-game losing streak. Rutgers has lost on the road against Indiana and Illinois, followed by a rough 82-72 home loss against Nebraska on Tuesday night in a bout that had Rutgers marked as huge 14-point favorites. The defense has not been nearly as sharp in the slide and they have now dipped to 8-7 in Big Ten play. The Scarlet Knights have covered the spread in only one of their last five road games.
Clifford Omoruyi has scored 15 or fewer points in five consecutive games. The junior center has three double-doubles in his last four clashes and is sporting an average of 13.5 PPG and 9.8 RPG. Cam Spencer has been quiet, scoring eight or fewer points in three of his last four clashes, shooting below 30% in three of those performances. The senior guard is now averaging 12.3 PPG on a 42.9% mark from th e field. Aundre Hyatt collected 24 points in Tuesday’s loss. The junior forward is posting an average of 10 PPG on 38% shooting.

The Scarlet Knights are ranked 27th in DI in Ken Pomeroy’s ratings and have lost three straight road games to fall to 2-6 on the road. Rutgers is only averaging 70.2 points on the season, pegging them 210th. They have conceded 66 or more points in three consecutive bouts and are limiting opponents to a season average of 60 points, good for ninth.
