Rice was defeated by the Charlotte 49ers 81-79 on Tuesday night and has lost each of its last five. Temple was defeated by SMU 77-64 on Tuesday night and has lost each of its last three. Rice will play without Cameron Sheffield, while Anthony Seiden is questionable. Temple’s Steve Settle III is questionable.
