The Purdue Boilermakers hit the road to take on the Wisconsin Badgers on Thursday night. The Purdue Boilermakers have had a successful season this season with another 20+ win season, the likely National Player of the Year in Zach Edey, and already a share of the Big Ten title. One failure of the Boilermakers thus far, however, is their inability to beat in-state rival Indiana. On Saturday, the 5th-ranked Boilermakers fell once again to Indiana 79-71 on their home court. Indiana completed the season sweep of Purdue with the win. The loss snapped a 7-game home winning streak for Purdue. The Boilermakers shot just 32% from the floor in the game. Edey was able to record his 45th straight double-double in the loss with 26 points and 16 rebounds. He added three assists and two blocks as well.

Purdue will look to win out the rest of the way and make a deep run in the Big Ten Tournament in order to try and secure a #1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. The Boilermakers are fifth in the conference in scoring offense this season. They are also fourth in field goal percentage and fourth in 3pt offense. On the defensive end, Purdue is second in the Big Ten in scoring defense. The Boilermakers are sixth in opponent's field goal percentage and third in 3pt defense. Thanks to the presence of Edey, Purdue is first in the conference in total rebounding. The Boilermakers are also fourth in fewest turnovers per game.
