The Phoenix Suns invade the Capital One Arena to take on the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night.

The Phoenix Suns have been in a major slump as they’ve lost eight of their last 12 games, but they will be eager to build some momentum in this one after blowing past the Grizzlies in a 125-108 road win last night. Duane Washington Jr led the team with 26 points and eight assists off the bench, Jock Landale added 16 points while DeAndre Ayton tallied 15 points with 10 rebounds. As a team, the Suns shot 49 percent from the field and 17 of 31 from the 3-point line as they exploded for 42 points in the second quarter to take a 16-point lead into halftime, which ballooned to 25 points in the third quarter as the Suns put the game to bed early.

Meanwhile, the Washington Wizards have been in poor shape as they’ve lost 11 of their last 14 games, but they will be aiming for a third straight victory after outlasting the red-hot 76ers in a 116-111 home win last night. Kristaps Porzingis led the team with 24 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks, Bradley Beal added 19 points with five assists while Kyle Kuzma and Rui Hachimura each scored 14 points. As a team, the Wizards shot 45 percent from the field and 11 of 33 from the 3-point line as they got off to a flyer and poured in 67 points in the first half to build a 16-point lead which proved to be just enough as the 76ers got to within one point with just 2:59 remaining on the clock, before the Wizards made a final push to escape with the win.
