Brooklyn Nets at Atlanta Hawks – 12/28/22 NBA Picks and Prediction

The Brooklyn Nets and the Atlanta Hawks duke it out at the State Farm Arena on Wednesday night.

The Brooklyn Nets have been in red-hot form as they’ve won 13 of their last 14 games overall and they will be gunning for a 10th straight victory after beating the Cavaliers in a 125-117 road win on Monday. Kevin Durant led the team with 32 points, nine rebounds and five assists, Kyrie Irving drained seven 3-pointers to finish with 32 points of his own, TJ Warren added 23 points off the bench while Ben Simmons tallied four points with nine rebounds and eight assists. As a team, the Nets shot a sizzling 57 percent from the field and 18 of 30 from the 3-point line as they got off to a hot start from behind the arc and poured in 65 points in the first half to build a 19-point lead, before they held off the Cavaliers in the fourth quarter to keep their win streak alive.

Meanwhile, the Atlanta Hawks have been in decent shape as they’ve won three of their past five games overall, but they will be hoping to bounce back in this one after getting routed by the Pacers in a 129-114 road loss last night. John Collins led the team with 26 points and 10 rebounds, Trae Young added 22 points with 10 assists while Bogdan Bogdanovic chipped in with 18 points. As a team, the Hawks shot 44 percent from the field and 12 of 30 from the 3-point line as they struggled to contain the Pacers’ Buddy Hield from the start and trailed by 10 points going into halftime and things only got worse in the fourth quarter where the Pacers’ bench ran riot to make it a blowout.
