A pair of Big 12 teams hoping to break out of the logjam in the conference standings take the floor looking for a win in the Sunflower State. The Oklahoma State Cowboys are on the road as they make the trip to battle the Kansas State Wildcats Saturday evening. Oklahoma State was steamrolled 90-66 by #3 Kansas on the road in their previous contest Wednesday night, failing to cover the line as a seven-point underdog. Kansas State upended #9 Baylor 68-64 in overtime at home in their previous contest Tuesday night, covering the line as a one-point favorite. In the all-time series between the programs, the Wildcats own a 79-54 edge and have won the last two meetings, including a 73-68 road win in the most recent matchup on February 25, 2023.

Oklahoma State was run out of the Allen Fieldhouse as they were drubbed by #3 Kansas in their previous contest Wednesday night. The Cowboys dropped to 8-9 overall on the year and sit in the basement of the Big 12 with a 0-4 conference mark on the year. Against Kansas, Oklahoma State found themselves down 6-0 just over a minute into the game and was behind the rest of the way. The Cowboys were down 15 at the half and trailed by as many as 28 in the second half as they went down rather meekly. Oklahoma State shot only 39.6% from the field, including six of 21 from three-point range, and allowed Kansas to shoot a sizzling 62.1% in the contest. Bryce Thompson led the Cowboys with 20 points in the loss.

The Cowboys are putting up an average of 72.4 points per game on the offensive end of the floor, putting them 245th in the nation in scoring offense. Oklahoma State pulls down an average of 36.1 rebounds per contest while dishing out an average of 14.8 assists a night.
