Oklahoma State vs. Kansas Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 11-5-2022

The Kansas Jayhawks (5-3, 2-3) will host the Oklahoma State Cowboys (6-2, 3-2) on Saturday in a Big 12 matchup.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys started the season 5-0 but have dropped two of their last three games. The first loss came in overtime on October 15, 43-30 to TCU, but the Cowboys bounced back with a 41-34 Texas the following week. What happened last Saturday, however was a bit of a shock, as the Cowboys suffered a terrible 48-0 loss to Kansas State as a road 2.5-point dog. The Cowboys were out gained 495 to 217 in total yards in the loss and also committed three turnovers without forcing any.

The Cowboys are led by quarterback Spencer Sanders who has completed 58% of his passes for 2,177 yards with 15 touchdowns and five interceptions. Sanders has also rushed for 343 yards and eight touchdowns. Against Kansas State, Spencer Sanders played his worst game of the year, completing 13 of 26 passes for 147 yards with an interception and nine rushing yards.

Oklahoma State is 34th overall averaging 435.9 yards per game on offense and 39.1 ppg. On defense, the Cowboys have given up 31.1 ppg and are 119th allowing 455.3 yards per game.
