Will the Blue Bombers ever lose a game?

The back-to-back Grey Cup champions are a flawless 7-0 (5-2 against the spread) this year and are 1.5-point favorites at FanDuel this Saturday when they visit Calgary.

Stampeders head coach Dave Dickenson said Tuesday that several players on his squad are battling illnesses and there are at least a few cases of COVID-19. Calgary was initially a 1-point favorite when betting lines opened, but the COVID news moved the line back in favor of Winnipeg.

Winnipeg prevailed 26-19 in the only previous meeting between these two teams back in Week 6, when it handed Calgary its first loss of the season.

Betway going live Aug. 1

Sources have confirmed to that Betway will be going live in Ontario on Monday, Aug. 1.

Betway received a license from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario back on April 19, but had not yet secured an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario.

Players that already have accounts with Betway, which was doing business in the province as a gray-market operator, within Ontario will be prompted to migrate their accounts the first time they log in after Aug. 1.

Betway will continue to operate in the rest of Canada under the Malta Gaming Authority via betway.com.

The operator will be launching a wide assortment of sports betting, casino, esports, and live casino markets.

Super Group is the largest operator in Canada, operating within the offshore online gambling market under Betway and Spin, a multi-branded online casino offering, with 28% of the total online market share in 2021, according to H2 Gambling Capital.
