Last Tuesday, they got into a battle with Oklahoma State, the No. 1 seed in their bracket, and they emerged with a 65-59 overtime win. The Mean Green dominated in the overtime period, led by Tyler Perry, who scored five of this game high 23 points in overtime. It was not a pretty game as both teams shot below 35% from the floor, but North Texas made 9 threes and that was the difference. Moulaye Sissoko added 12 points and 15 rebounds while Kai Huntsberry added 11 points.
