Dan Karpuc: Seahawks Under 19.5 Total Team Points
I'm actually not as low on the Seahawks as a lot of other people clearly are (they do have D.K. Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and Rashaad Penny, after all), but this Week 1 matchup is going to be very difficult for them to generate points. Now with Geno Smith starting at quarterback, Seattle's offensive line is going to need to open up holes for Penny, who will be the lead back after a stellar back-end of last season. The only issue with that: the Seahawks offensive line isn't good on paper (starting two rookies) and this Broncos defensive line added notable run stopper D.J. Jones in the offseason along with Bradley Chubb and newcomer Randy Gregory on the edges. In the passing game, Smith does have two huge weapons in Metcalf and Lockett, but will face a secondary that boasts superstar Justin Simmons at safety and Patrick Surtain II at corner.

While Russell Wilson now is at the helm of an offense that should be successful through the air, I have a strong feeling that the Broncos will attempt to establish the run with Javonte Williams and Melvin Gordan, arguably the best running back tandem in the NFL. I can absolutely see Denver jumping out to an early lead and eating up the clock with their aforementioned backs. Overall, give me under 19.5 total team points for Seattle.
