The Knicks have not been a reliable squad to back, covering just once in their last five games entering Tuesday night.
Julius Randle continues to produce, sinking at least 21 points in five consecutive games including 25 in the loss to the Thunder. The 27-year-old power forward is sporting an average of 20.8 PPG and 9.1 RPG. He averaged 26 points in two games against Denver last year. Jalen Brunson posted 11.3 PPG in three games against the Nuggets last year as a member of the Mavericks. The veteran point guard is thriving , filing an average of 9.5 PPG, and leads the squad with 6.8 APG. RJ Barrett had a season-best 30 points in last weekend’s victory against Detroit. The 22-year-old shooting guard is only shooting 32% from beyond the arc and is averaging 18.9 PPG along with 5.4 RPG.

The Knicks have not fared well on the road, winning just two of six road bouts entering Tuesday night. The offense needs to improve. They continue to attempt a whopping amount of threes but are shooting just 32.5% from deep. New York is posting an average of 114.7 points, landing them 13th. They are conceding an average of 116.8 points, pegging them 25th in the NBA.
