Two Mid-American Conference foes meet Saturday as the Northern Illinois Huskies host the Miami of Ohio Redhawks. The Huskies 11-15 overall and 7-6 in the conference while Miami is 8-18 overall and 2-11 in the MAC. The Huskies beat Miami 81-77 when the two met at Miami back in January. Tipoff for this game is at 4:30 p.m. EST at the Convocation Center in DeKalb, Illinois.
It has been a tough go of it for the Miami of Ohio Redhawks. They are sitting in the basement in the MAC with a record of 8-18 overall and 2-11 in the conference. They scored a rare win back on February 7 over Western Michigan, prevailing 85-78 at home. But since then they have lost their last two games, to Central Michigan and at Toledo.

Their most recent game was on Tuesday at Toledo, where they fell 89-71 and failed to cover as a 16.5 point underdog. Mekhi Lairy and Anderson Mirambeaux led the Redhawks with 12 points each. Mirambeaux also had six assists and six rebounds, Ryan Mabrey chipped in with 11 points for Miami. Lairy leads the team with 17.6 points per game. Miami is ranked No. 300 in the latest KenPom power rankings.
