Manhattan vs. Siena College Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 3-2-2023

Sienna looks to stop the bleeding playing host to Manhattan in a MAAC matchup.

Manhattan has won two of their last three games and several games back beat Sienna at home. The team is .500 in MAAC play and 11-16 overall.

Sienna has lost three in a row where their offense has realty struggled to score. They are in third place in the conference standings at 11-7, 17-12 overall, and four games out of first place with two games remaining in the regular season.

In their last game Manhattan was on the road and beat Quinnipiac 72-70 at the buzzer where they were down big at the half but outscored the Bobcats by 16 points in the second half. For the game the Jaspers played well on both sides of the floor shooting 49.2% and holding Quinnipiac to 42.9% shooting. Three players went for double digits in the win with Ant Nelson leading the way with 21 points and Josh Roberts had 13 points.

The Jaspers covered the spread as an 8.5-point underdog and they have covered in four of their last five games.

On the season Manhattan is averaging 67.8 ppg and giving up an average of 70.8 ppg. Nelson is the team’s leading scorer averaging 15.3 ppg and he has scored at least 21 points in two of the last three games. Samir Stewart (12.8 ppg) only scored seven points in the last gam e and over the last three games has only averaged 6.3 ppg. Roberts (12.2 ppg 9.7 rpg) is the third leading scorer and leading rebounder and he has totaled 27 points and 14 rebounds in the last two games. Several games back the Jaspers beat Sienna 71-67 in OT where they played great defense holding the Saints to 37.3% shooting.
