The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns (5-6) and the Texas State Bobcats (4-7) square off on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Jim Wacker Field at Bobcat Stadium in a battle of Sun Belt foes.
In their last game, the Ragin’ Cajuns were defeated by the Florida State Seminoles 49-17. The Bobcats’ last game was a 16-13 win over the Arkansas State Red Wolves. Chandler Fields had 159 yards on 19-of-36 passing (52.8%) for the Ragin’ Cajuns in that matchup against the Seminoles, with one touchdown and no interceptions. He also added eight carries for 9 yards and one rushing touchdown. Dre’lyn Washington took 10 carries for 57 yards (5.7 yards per carry). Michael Jefferson had 60 yards on six catches (10.0 per reception) with one touchdown in that game. Layne Hatcher went 23-for-36 with 196 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions for the Bobcats against the Red Wolves. In that matchup, Lincoln Pare had a 19-carry, 75-yard game (3.9 yards per attempt) with one touchdown. He tacked on two receptions for nine yards . Donnovan Moorer recorded six catches for 54 yards (on eight targets).
The Ragin’ Cajuns are the favorite (-5) over the Bobcats. The total is set at 45 points.
