To pull off an upset victory in the second round, La Salle will have to take care of business inside. Offensively, the Explorers have not been one of the better teams in the Atlantic Ten this season. La Salle finished ninth in scoring offense this season. The Explorers were just 13th in the conference in field goal percentage and sixth in 3pt shooting. On the defensive end, things were even worse. La Salle finished 14th in scoring defense this season in the A-10. The Explorers were last in opponent's field goal percentage and last in 3pt defense. La Salle finished eighth in the conference in total rebounding and sixth in turnovers.
