Kennesaw State vs. Indiana Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 12-23-2022

The Kennesaw State Owls (8-4, 6-3 ATS, 5-4 O/U) take on the Indiana Hoosiers (9-3, 6-5-1 ATS, 8-4 O/U) in an inter-conference clash on Thursday evening. The Owls collected a home victory against SC Upstate on Tuesday night. The Hoosiers rebounded by earning a home win against Elon in their previous action. These foes last met in 2015.

The Kennesaw St. Owls are seeking a third straight victory. They have now won four out of their last five clashes with the only defeat in that span occurring in a rough 88-54 defeat against an excellent San Diego State squad. The Owls have covered in losses to Florida and VCU and beat Appalachian State and Charleston Southern. They were 7.5 point favorites in a 65-56 home win against SC Upstate on Tuesday. They have covered the spread in four of their last five games. 

Chris Youngblood continues to excel. The junior guard has connected on at least 62% of his field goals in two out of his last three games after scoring 18 points on Saturday. Youngblood has recorded an average of 14.2 PPG on 50% shooting. Terrell Burden has scored double digits in only one out of his last four games. The senior guard has logged an average of 11.3 PPG and leads the team with 3.8 APG. Demond Robinson scored 10 points last time out. The senior forward has filed an average of 8.5 PPG and 4.9 RPG.

The Owls are ranked 213th in DI in Ken Pomeroy’s ratings and are 3-3 on the road this season including a win against Appalachian State. Kennesaw St. has reached 70 points in three straight games and is scoring an average of 73.1 points on the season, ranking them 170th.
