The Green Bay Packers have five Super Bowl appearances.
The Vince Lombardi-era Packers were the NFL’s first dynasty, led by veteran quarterback Bart Starr and an excellent defensive unit.
After the 1966 season, they dominated the Chiefs in the first-ever AFL-NFL World Championship Game, later monikered the Super Bowl.
The defending champs defeated the Oakland Raiders 33-14. Starr was named MVP for the second year in a row and became the only quarterback to win three consecutive NFL titles.
