Harvard at UC Irvine – 12/20/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Harvard Crimson will make the cross-country trip to California and meet the UC Irvine Anteaters in non-conference action from the Bren Events Center on ESPN. Irvine and Harvard have faced off three times since 2006, with the Anteaters holding a 2-1 series lead.

Harvard fell to 7-4 after a loss to Howard at home. The Crimson failed to keep up with the Bison in the second half, and suffered their third home loss of the season. Harvard is scoring 68.3 points per game, while allowing 63.6, and shooting 45.1% from the floor.

Chris Ledlum has picked up right where he left off prior to going down with injury last season. The senior forward scored a season-high 30 points against a tough Loyola-Chicago team, and he posted a 25-point double-double versus in-state for UMass. Ledlum leads the Crimson in scoring (18.9) and rebounding (7.6). Senior guard Luka Sakota scored 18 points in the win over Tufts and he’s up to 8.2 ppg.
