The Grambling State Tigers will head up to Blacksburg and face the Virginia Tech Hokies in non-conference action from the Cassell Coliseum on ESPNU.
Grambling State is 6-3 after defeating Vanderbilt in Nashville. The Tigers caught the Commodores slipping after outscoring them in the first half, and snuck away with the two-point victory. Grambling State scores 67.4 points per game, while shooting 42.7% from the floor, and 34.1% from deep. Carte'are Gordon leads the team in scoring (13.8) and rebounding (8.2).
The Hokies open ACC play on a strong note, jumping on the Tar Heels early and holding on for the ten-point win. Virginia Tech scores 77.1 points per game, while shooting 47.6% from the floor, and 35.8% from three.
