The Golden State Warriors are on the road as they make the trip to face the Portland Trail Blazers Sunday afternoon. Golden State rolled to a 119-97 win over Sacramento on the road in their previous contest, covering the line as a 10.5-point favorite. Portland was in action against the Clippers on the road Saturday in the front game of a back-to-back set. The Trail Blazers were beaten 129-127 against the Spurs in a game held in Austin in their previous game Thursday, though they did cover as a five-point underdog. In the all-time regular season series between the teams, the Trail Blazers own a 130-111 advantage though the Warriors have taken five of the last six meetings, including two of three this season. Against Sacramento, Golden State led by 16 after the opening quarter and regrouped after Sacramento narrowed the margin to five at intermission. The Warriors outscored the Kings 66-49 in the second half to pull away for the one-sided win. Golden State shot 52.6% from the floor, including 16 of 36 from three-point range, and won the rebounding battle 47-40 to offset 24 turnovers. Klay Thompson led the Warriors with 29 points in the win.
