Fresno State at Utah State – 12/31/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Fresno State Bulldogs will travel to Logan and face the Utah State Aggies in Mountain West play from Dee Glen Smith Spectrum on CBSS. The Fresno State/Utah State series dates back to 1963, and the Aggies hold a 41-26 head-to-head lead after winning six of the last seven games.

Fresno State improved to 5-7 after defeating Wyoming at home. The Bulldogs jumped out to a big halftime lead, and cruised to a vintage defensive victory, defeating the Cowboys by five points. Fresno is scoring 61.3 points per game, while allowing 61.1 ppg, and shooting 42.3% from the floor.

Fresno has struggled to put the ball in the basket this season, as offense has been hard to come by. Isaih Moore has presumed the Orlando Robinson role in the Fresno offense and he returned in the Wyoming game to help guide the Bulldogs to victory. The 6’10 forward leads the squad in scoring (11.8) and rebounding (7.8). Fifth-year guard Jemarl Baker stepped up in against the Cowboys as well, pacing the team with 20 points to bring his average to an identical 11.4 ppg.
