Fordham reached the semifinal round thanks to a win over La Salle on Thursday. Meanwhile, Dayton earned its trip to the semifinal after a win over Saint Joseph's. The Fordham Rams inched one step closer to an Atlantic Ten Tournament title with a win over La Salle on Thursday. The win was the 25th of the season for Fordham as they jockey for a spot in the NCAA Tournament. Darius Quisenberry led the way with 22 points in the win over La Salle. Quisenberry also had six rebounds in the win. Khalid Moore had a double-double in the game with 20 points and 11 rebounds. The Rams won despite shooting just 11-of-24 from the free-throw line.

Fordham lost its only matchup with Dayton this season, 82-58. The Rams could never get going against Dayton, scoring just 18 points in the first half and never recovering. Fordham shot 34% from the field overall and the free throw shooting was an issue again, hitting on just 46% from the charity stripe. Fordham was dominated in the paint, 42-20. On the season, Fordham was just 13th in the A-10 in field goal percentage and 14th in 3pt shooting.
