DraftKings Opens Sportsbook At Arizona PGA Tour Destination

TPC Scottsdale, home to the rowdiest annual PGA Tour event, is now home to an on-site retail sportsbook.'

The DraftKings Sportsbook at TPC Scottsdale in Arizona opened to the general public Friday at 10 a.m. local time following a ribbon-cutting Thursday. The sportsbook's official opening makes it the first retail betting facility at a PGA Tour tournament venue. The WM Phoenix Open is held annually at TPC Scottsdale, and the tournament encourages raucous behavior from fans not seen at other PGA Tour venues.'

“It's going to add to the allure of that event,” Scott Warfield, the PGA Tour's vice president of gaming, said at Las Vegas’ G2E gathering last week.'

Sportsbook details

While the facility could become a popular hangout spot during tournament weeks, it's open year-round, seven days a week. The restaurant and patio are open to all patrons, while the wagering lounge inside the sportsbook only allows adults over the age of 21.'
