Call it the zig-zag theory if you'd like, but we're going to be targeting tonight to be the Panthers’ turn to get the win and take the series lead yet again. When you think of a town called Sunrise, Florida, you may not think of ice hockey, but the fans just outside of South Beach certainly do. It may not be the famous Madison Square Garden, but Amerant Bank Arena has been great to the Panthers and their fans.'
They won all 3 games there in the first round of the postseason after going 26-13-2 at home in the regular season. One of those victories came against the Rangers as well in the only home matchup they had with the blue shirts. Speaking of their regular season meetings, they went 2-1 against New York this season, and of course, had their 3-0 victory in Game 1 of this series. We won't expect another shutout, but we anticipate a hungry Florida squad that just had their streak of 11 straight overtime playoff wins snapped.
