Chicago Bulls vs. Brooklyn Nets Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 11-1-2022

The Chicago Bulls travel to Brooklyn on Tuesday to take on the struggling Nets. The Bulls are 3-4 on the season and have lost three straight games heading into this matchup. The Nets are one of the worst teams statistically in the NBA thus far as they try to adjust to the addition of Ben Simmons into the lineup and injuries to key bench players. The opening tap is scheduled for 7:30pm EST.

It has been tough to keep up with the team from the Windy City this year because this Bulls' team never seems to know which way the wind is blowing. The Bulls started the season with a surprising road win over the Miami Heat but followed that up with two-straight losses. Chicago then won two straight games, including one over the Celtics, before losing their last three games. On Sunday night at home against Philadelphia, the Bulls lost 114-109 after falling behind by 15 points after one quarter. The Bulls fell behind by as much as 19 points before briefly taking the lead in the 3rd quarter. Ultimately, however, the Sixers would bounce back and beat the Bulls for the 12th-straight time. Demar DeRozan led the way 24 points while center Nikola Vucevic had 23 points and 19 rebounds, including five 3-pointers.

The Bulls inconsistency can definitely be traced to the team's health report. All-star forward Zach LaVine has already missed three of the team's first seven games as he continues to recover from offseason knee surgery. Speaking of knee issues, starting guard Lonzo Ball has yet to play a game this season as he continues to recover from knee surgery. The Bulls are shooting just 45% from the field thus far and are averaging just over 112 points per game.

Key Injuries: C Andre Drummond is day-to-day with a shoulder issue, Ball remains out and always monitor the status of LaVine with his knee maintenance.
