Burdge: My Favorite Red Sox Player Prop Right Now

Why I love this Adam Duvall player prop right now.

Don't look now but the Boston Red Sox are 2-1 through their first three games this season.'

While this is a small sample size, it's still better than many thought this team would start this season. And the highlight came on Saturday when the Red Sox completed an epic comeback against the Orioles courtesy of Adam Duvall's walk-off home run to take Baltimore down 9-8.'

And that wasn't even Duvall's only home run in the game. In fact, all he needed when he stepped up to the plate in the ninth inning was a single to hit for the cycle, for goodness sake. And he hit a home run instead to bring his total bases for the game up to 13. He now leads the league in total bases with 19 after Saturday, his one total base on Opening Day on Thursday and then his other FIVE on Sunday in that win over the Orioles.'

He made s omewhat of a sacrifice in that game too by accomplishing this total bases feat because with that walk-off, Duvall became the first player in MLB history to need a single to complete hitting for the cycle and instead hit a walk-off home run.'

But anyway, Duvall is currently the Total Bases King and my favorite Red Sox prop bet right now has got to be the over on Duvall's total bases. Last year's Total Bases King Rafael Devers isn't doing so terribly himself, as he has nine of his own so far. But that's not quite NINETEEN. As of now, the crown is Duvall's and this is why I'm going with him to hit the over on 0.5 total bases at -175 at BetMGM in Monday's game against the Pirates. And I will be betting that every day until he shows any signs of slowing down in this department.'

Oh yeah, and he was also named AL Player of the Week on Monday for the first tim e in his 10-year career. Not the worst way to start your time in Boston.
