The Buffalo Sabres will go on the road on Tuesday evening to the Prudential Center to clash with the New Jersey Devils in an Eastern Conference NHL game. The Sabres are doing well as they are fifth in the Atlantic Division (39-32-7, 85 points) and are on a two-game winning streak after a 4-3 home win a gainst the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday. The Devils are looking to battle for a better spot in the postseason as they are second in the Metropolitan Division (50-22-8, 108 points) and are coming off a 2-1 road loss on Saturday against the Boston Bruins. This is the third and final game against one another in the regular season with each team having one win apiece.

The Buffalo Sabres added a couple of points last time out after a 4-3 home win against the Carolina Hurricanes. Defenseman Rasmus Dahlin led the Sabres as he finished with a goal and two assists throughout the game. They scored four goals on 30 shots and scored on one of their four power play attempts throughout the entire game. Their defense has been struggling a bit, but need every point possible to continue fighting to extend their season.

This Sabres team has been scoring the puck at a great level as they are currently fifth in the NHL with 282 total goals scored. Right winger Tage Thompson is leading the team as he is dishing the puck well with 93 points (46 goals, 47 assists) and scored four points in his previous three games. On the defensive side of the ice, they are struggling as their opponents are scoring 287 total goals, which is 24th in the NHL up to this point.
