Buffalo had a tougher than expected game against the Giants at home last Sunday night as perhaps the travel back from London, coupled with the injury issues and underestimating their opponent led to a game that went to the final play. The Bills improved to 4-2 on the season and stand second in the AFC East, one game behind Miami, though they own the tiebreaker by virtue of their week 4 win over the Dolphins. Against the Giants, the Bills were held scoreless until the fourth quarter when two Josh Allen touchdown passes, the last a 15-yard strike to Quinton Morris with 3:48 to play, gave them the lead for good. The Buffalo defense came up with the final stop, holding the Giants at the one-yard line with an untimed down to secure the victory. Buffalo was outgained 317-297 in total offense, lost time of possession by a 31:24 to 28:36 margin and committed two turnovers while failing to record a takeaway. The Bills did have 22 first downs while a llowing 20 and held the Giants to a zero of five showing in the red zone, helping them earn the win.

On the year, the Bills are eighth in the league in passing offense with an average of 256.7 yards per game and 12th in rushing with an average of 118.2 yards per contest. Buffalo is third in the league in scoring offense by putting up 28.8 points per contest and they are third in the league in scoring defense by allowing 14.8 points per game.
