Brooklyn Nets at Detroit Pistons – 12/18/22 NBA Picks and Prediction

The Brooklyn Nets pay a visit to the Detroit Pistons at Little Caesars Arena on Sunday night.

The Brooklyn Nets have been in red-hot form as they’ve won nine of their last 10 games overall and they will be aiming for a sixth straight victory after sneaking past the Raptors in a 119-116 road win on Friday. Kyrie Irving led the team with 32 points and five assists on 13 of 22 shooting, Kevin Durant added 28 points on 10 of 15 shooting while Yuta Watanabe chipped in with 17 points on six of seven shooting off the bench. As a team, the Nets shot a ridiculous 60 percent from the field and nine of 26 from the 3-point line as they got off to a sluggish start and scored just 19 points in the first quarter to trail by as many as 18 points early on, but they hung tough and poured in 67 points in the second half to steal the game on a clutch game-winning 3-pointer from Irving at the buzzer.

Meanwhile, the Detroit Pistons have been in a major slump as they’ve lost eight of their last 11 games overall and they will be eager to bounce back here after falling short against the Kings in a 122-113 loss on Friday. Bojan Bogdanovic led the team with 22 points, Jalen Duren added 15 points with 14 rebounds while Marvin Bagley and Isaiah Stewart each scored 13 points. As a team, the Pistons shot 45 percent from the field and 10 of 29 from the 3-point line as they controlled the first half to take the early lead, but they couldn’t maintain that pace and let their hard work go to waste in the third quarter where they got outscored by 38-23.
