Best NBA First Basket Scorer Prop Bets for Today 2/15: Williams off to a good start

Last night Bradley Beal knocked down the first shot against the Portland Trail Blazers, cashing one of my first basket scorer props. Tonight I hope to build on that with 2 more selections. There is a massive 10 game slate to choose from too, including a ESPN double header. Check out who I have picked out to score the first basket in one of those games below. And be sure to read the rest of our NBA predictions too.

Mark Williams has one of the longest wingspans in the NBA. This should allow him to dominate most tip off situations. That should be the case tonight too as he will jump against Zach Collins. The Hornets rookie also enjoys a height advantage over the Spurs man. Williams should have a great chance of making the first field goal too. With LaMelo Ball running the show and being one of the best passers in the league, look for Williams to pose a serious lob threat. He is making 71.7% of his field goal attempts in his last 10 outings. With the Spurs allowing the most paint points per game during that stretch, the Hornets center could be set to take advantage. It is worth noting the visitors are last in true shooting percentage over the last 10 games. The hosts could get multiple attempts here.

Our'NBA Wednesday mega parlay'has +1107 odds!

The Heat have won 6 of their last 10 tip offs and Bam Adebayo should be set to continue that against Nic Claxton. The Nets have won 4 tips during that stretch. The Heat are 5th in defensive rating over the last 10 games and would have a great chance of getting a stop even if they cannot get the ball first. The Nets however have acquired a number of great wing defenders like Dorian Finney-Smith and Mikal Bridges. It leaves the most obvious advantage for the Heat on the inside, where Claxton should have issues dealing with Adebayo and his physicality. The Heat center is averaging 22.3 points per game over the last 10 and is no stranger to scoring the ball. Look for him to get featured early tonight.
