Atlanta Hawks at Indiana Pacers – 12/27/22 NBA Picks and Prediction

The Atlanta Hawks and the Indiana Pacers duke it out at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Tuesday night.

The Atlanta Hawks have been in decent shape as they’ve won three of their past four games and they will be looking to stay hot after making light work of the lowly Pistons in a 130-105 home win on Friday. Trae Young led the team with 26 points and 13 assists on nine of 15 shooting, Dejounte Murray added 26 points with five assists and four steals while Bogdan Bogdanovic provided the spark off the bench with 19 points on seven of 18 shooting. As a team, the Hawks shot 53 percent from the field and 12 of 34 from the 3-point line as they looked to be a step behind the Pistons to start the game which meant they were trailing going into halftime, but it was like a different team came out of the locker rooms as the Hawks dominated the second half by 70-42 to make it look easy in the end.

Meanwhile, the Indiana Pacers have been in a real funk as they’ve lost five of their last eight games and they will be hoping for a better showing after getting routed by the Pelicans in a 113-93 road loss last night. Benedict Mathurin led the team in scoring with just 15 points off the bench, Myles Turner added 14 points while Tyrese Haliburton and Buddy Hield scored 12 points each. As a team, the Pacers shot just 42 percent from the field and nine of 35 from the 3-point line as they got off to a sloppy start and managed just 18 points in the first quarter to fall behind by 19 points going into halftime, and things only worsened in the third quarter where they trailed by as many as 29 points.
