The Coyotes are having a promising season with their offense carrying them, scoring 3.23 goals per game. Clayton Keller, Nick Schmaltz, and Matias Maccelli have scored 22 goals and 42 assists to lead the top two lines but the rest of the offense has stepped up as well. The offense has led the way but the defense has also stepped up, allowing only 2.96 goals per game. Sean Durzi and JJ Moser have combined for 3.5 defensive point shares and 99 blocked shots while Troy Stetcher and Juuso Valimaki have combined for 1.8 defensive point shares to add depth to the unit. The hope is that goaltender Karel Vejmelka steps up in the net as he has struggled with a .892 save percentage and a 3.45 goals -against average on 323 shots with -3.9 goals saved above average.
