The Arizona Coyotes and Tampa Bay Lightning face off on Saturday in a college basketball showdown at Amalie Arena. When these two teams faced off in February it was the Lightning that secured the 4-3 victory. This is the first meeting between these two teams this season.

The Coyotes come into this game with a 13-16-5 record overall and they have gone 6-13-3 against the spread. On Friday against the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Coyotes scored six goals and that led to the three goal victory. Barret Hayton scored one goal and added two assists. Nick Bjugstad had one goal and added one assist. Arizona is averaging 2.88 goals while their defense is giving up 3.56 goals per game. Clayton Keller finished with 13 goals and added 20 assists. The Coyotes haven't been great this season, but they have been more competitive than the last few seasons.

On the other side of this matchup is the Lightning who sit with a 22-11-1 record overall and they have gone 14-4-1 at home. On Thursday against the New York Rangers it took a shootout but they were able to secure the 2-1 victory. The Lightning are averaging 3.53 goals while their defense is giving up 2.88 goals per game. The offense is ranked 5th best in the league, and they need to attack the Coyotes' defense. Nikita Kucherov has scored 13 goals and added 38 assists.
