It’s an interconference battle on the hardwood as a pair of teams take the floor in search of a victory in the City of Brotherly Love. The Portland Trail Blazers are on the road as they make the trip east as they face the Philadelphia 76ers Sunday night. Portland fell 102-97 at home to Orlando in their previous game Friday night, failing to cover the line as a four-point underdog. Philadelphia was in action on the road Saturday night against Toronto in the front half of a back-to-back set. The 76ers fell 118-117 on the road to Milwaukee Thursday night though they did cover the line as a six-point underdog in their season opener. In the all-time regular season series between the teams, the 76ers own a 62-59 advantage and took both meetings last season. That includes a 120-119 home win in the most recent meeting on March 10, 2023.

Against Orlando, Portland trailed by five after the opening quarter and by eight at the half before closing the gap to two after three quarters. The Trail Blazers got within one at 83-82 with 10:28 remaining before giving up a 14-2 run to trail 97-84 with 5:35 to go. Portland got no closer than five after that en route to the loss. The Trail Blazers shot 39.8% from the field, including nine of 32 from three-point range, and turned the ball over 16 times in the loss. Shaedon Sharpe led Portland with 24 points in the game.
