John Gibson was spectacular in the net, stopping 26 shots to earn the victory. After a very disappointing first four months to the season, Gibson (13-23-7, 3.89, .903) has looked solid lately, allowing two goals in three of his last four games, giving up nine total goals during that span. Anaheim is 32nd in goals-against average (4.03) and 30th in penalty killing (73.6%). It is easy to see why this team is so far down in the standings.
