The Tennessee-Chattanooga Mocs (8-3) and Belmont Bruins (6-5) clash in a 2 p.m. ET matchup on Sunday inside Mckenzie Arena. The Mocs are five-point favorites with the total set at 152.5 points.

Belmont has won five of its last seven games but stumbled last time out against MTSU in a 85-75 loss as one-point favorites. Senior guard Ben Sheppard, who leads the team and ranks 15th in the nation in scoring (20.6 ppg), paced the Bruins with a season-high 33 points and earned the Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week award. Sheppard now has 1,140 career points and also leads Belmont in assists with 3.6 per game.

This will be the ninth all-time meeting between the Bruins and Mocs, with Belmont taking a 76-68 win last season in which Sheppard scored a team-high 23 points. Belmont’s 395 total wins over the last 15 years leads the state, above programs such as Memphis, Vanderbilt and Tennessee. The Bruins are averaging 76.5 points per game — No. 108 in the nation — while shooting 46.1 percent from the floor and 40.5 percent beyond the arc.
