Welp, they did it again. After taking down Alabama in 2021 to claim their first national championship since 1980, the Bulldogs claimed back-to-back titles by crushing TCU 65-7 in the CFP National Championship Game. This is officially the era of the Bulldogs, as they have taken over the spot of “Alabama's biggest rival” from Clemson. On their way to this national title, they managed to go undefeated at 15-0 on the season, and 8-0 in the SEC.

Truly, this was one of the more dominant seasons for a college football team in recent memory, close to that 2019-2020 LSU team led by Joe Burrow. With an offense led by now 2x CFP MVP QB Stetson Bennett, they exploded in the championship for 65 points, completely obilteriating the TCU Horned Frogs in the largest blowout in bowl game history. However, they did face adversity in the Peach Bowl, when they narrowly escaped Ohio State 42-41 in a comeback victory to get there.
