A winning drought was going to end one way or another Sunday at the ZOZO Championship with Keegan Bradley facing down Rickie Fowler – each had not won since 2018 and 2019 respectively. Keegan was ultimately able to pull off the win after a birdie on 17 to take the lead and par on 18 to keep it, this is his 1st win this season and 5th of his career.

2022 THE CJ CUP in South Carolina

  • October 20-23, 2022
  • Congaree Golf Club, Ridgeland, SC
  • Purse: $10,500,000
  • Defending Champ: Rory McIlroy

THE CJ Cup is one of the PGA Tour's newer tournaments being first played in 2017. It was initially hosted at the Nine Bridges Golf Club in South Korea and continued there for the first three tournaments until travel restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic forced the tournament stateside and has been played here ever since.

It is a 72 hole, stroke play tournament, with a smaller field of only 78 players so no cuts will be made. The 78 player field is made up of the Top 60 available FedEx ranked players from last season and 18 through the KPGA, Asian Tour and sponsor exemptions.

The weather should not play much of a factor with the forecast showing clear skies all week; however, the wind will be something to keep an eye on heading into the weekend.

This year, The CJ Cup in South Carolina is being played at the Congaree Golf Club, in Ridgeland. The course, established in 2017 and designed by Tom Fazio, has only hosted one previous PGA Tour event prior to this week.&# 39;
