2022 CJ CUP Preview & Sleeper Picks: 5 Longshots to Bet, Including Sepp Straka Tommy Fleetwood

Few areas of the PGA TOUR schedule look sillier on paper than the current stretch. Over a five-week stretch, the TOUR hosts events in Las Vegas, Japan, South Carolina, Bermuda, and Mexico.

Realistically, no player is expected to play each of those events, yet with key early FedEx Cup points available to those focused on keeping their card in the future, plenty of players will be racking up frequent flyer miles throughout the Fall.

This week's event, THE CJ CUP, has had a chaotic short history, leading in large part to the illogical travel for the TOUR. The event was intended and originated as a second event in Asia, spending its first three years in South Korea. Pandemic complications moved the event stateside, where it will be played for its third straight year.

THE CJ CUP will take to Congaree Golf Club in South Carolina, which last hosted the 2021 Palmetto Championship. Perhaps thanks to its convenient location for many East Coast based pros, the event hosts the best field to date in the Fall series.
