Yankees vs. Red Sox Player Props Today, 6/15iv class=”bodyContent col-lg-9 mb-3″>

Arguably the best rivalry in Major League Baseball continues Saturday night as the Boston Red Sox host the New York Yankees at Fenway Park, and we have you covered with our Yankees vs. Red Sox player props based on the best MLB  odds.

New York and Boston's series opener on Friday was their first meeting of the season, marking the deepest into the season without playing each other since 1996. The Red Sox are in danger of losing their first series in their last five after Friday's 8-1 defeat.

Meanwhile, New York has been in first place since day one in the AL East, and gained a game on the Baltimore Orioles with Friday's win, increasing its division lead to 3.5 games.

First pitch for the second game of this three-game series is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. ET from Fenway Park in Boston. The game's available on FOX with the Yankees as -170 moneyline favorites.

Yankees vs. Red Sox expert picks

Tyler O'Neill leads all Red Sox hitters with a .466 on-base percentage and a 1.066 OPS against left-handed pitchers. And after a five-day layoff last week, he concluded his last two games against the Philadelphia Phillies with three hits in eight at-bats, along with four RBIs and a home run

Ent ering Friday (before going 0-for-5), O'Neill had hit safely in four of five games played in June, with three multi-hit games, a .438 average, and 1.099 OPS in that span. O'Neill ranks in the 88th percentile in hard-hit rate, the 91st percentile in xSLG, and the 97th percentile in barrels.

He should once again be able to drive in runs with Jarren Duran getting on base at a high clip at the top of the lineup.

In the four games that Juan Soto had played entering Friday since receiving a couple days off over the weekend (due to forearm inflammation), he had four hits in 11 at-bats, with none of the hits going for extra bases. While that .364 average is beyond impressive, Soto's disciplined eye at the plate has also been on display, with five total walks in the four games.

Since walks do not count towards a player's total bases prop, we are getting great value on this Under if even one of his at-bats ends with a base on balls.

We are making this Under a three-star play, in the hopes that Soto's forearm injury continues to limit him from a power standpoint at the plate. In addition, Red Sox righty Cooper Criswell owns a ground-ball rate ranked in the top-third of all qualified pitchers, and Fenway Park is much deeper in right field than left field if Soto were to elevate any pitches.

Odds: -120 via Betway

Rodon ended April and started May with five consecutive starts of six-plus strikeouts, but he has reached that plateau once in his previous four starts. He was effective in limiting a high-powered Kansas City Royals offense to one run on five hits over seven innings in his last start but recorded just three strikeouts, as he generated just 14 whiffs and less than a 47% chase rate on three of his top four primary pitches, per Thomas Nestico.

Rodon's strikeout total is likely to be inflated because the Red Sox strike out at the highest clip of any team in the majors (28.6%). And while that number increases to 30% at home against southpaws, it is an offense that still ranks eighth in wOBA, and we expect Rodon to labor through this road start.
