Wyoming vs. San Jose State Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 2-4-2023

We have a Mountain West Conference NCAA Men’s Basketball game on Saturday night between the Wyoming Cowboys and the San Jose State Spartans taking place at the Provident Credit Union Event Center. The Cowboys are 7-14 (2-7) so far and are coming off an 85-62 home win on Tuesday against the Fresno State Bulldogs. The Spartans are 13-9 (4-5) right now and are coming off a 72-51 road loss against the San Diego State Spartans on Saturday. This is the only time during the regular eason that these teams face off.

The Wyoming Cowboys have been doing a decent job offensively this season as they are averaging 70.8 points while shooting a solid 45.4 percent from the field. They have been passing the ball at a decent level this season with 11.8 assists per game so far. Sophomore guard Noah Reynolds has led the way for the Cowboys as he is averaging 15.2 points, 2.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 0.2 blocks, 0.3 steals, and 2.6 turnovers in 25.5 minutes per game.

Their defense has to show improvement on this side of the floor as they are allowing 71.5 points per game up to this point. However, they can improve at forcing mistakes as they are averaging 2.3 blocks and 4.6 steals per game right now. If they can be a better defensive team, it will be a better option heading forward.
