Wyoming had won three of their previous four games before getting stopped on the road by UTEP in their previous contest. The Cowboys enter this game 7-5 overall and hope for a road upset win ahead of opening up conference play next week. Against UTEP, Wyoming trailed by as many as six and led by as many as six in the opening half before settling for a one-point edge at halftime. The Cowboys gave up an 8-2 run in the second half to trail 43-38 with 12:29 remaining and couldn’t get closer than three after that. Mason Walters led the Cowboys with 16 points in the loss.
