The Wyoming Cowboys and New Mexico Lobos face off on Saturday in a Mountain West college football showdown at University Stadium. When these two teams faced off in 2021 it was New Mexico that secured the 14-3 victory.
The New Mexico Lobos come into this game with a 2-3 record and they are coming off a loss against UNLV in the last game. On the other side of this matchup is Wyoming who sits with a 3-3 record overall but they are coming off a loss in their last game against San Jose State. This is a team that wants to run the ball, but when they are falling behind it makes it tough to make the comeback just running the ball. The quarterback play is going to need to be good here. Wyoming is averaging 22.7 points while their defense is giving up 28.3 points per game.
