The seventh-seeded Wright State Raiders and the second-seeded Milwaukee Panthers will square off in the quarterfinals of the Barbasol Horizon League Championship on Thursday night at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena. The Raiders are 18-14 (10-10) so far and are riding a two-game winning streak after coming off a 77-57 home win on Tuesda y against the Green Bay Phoenix. The Panthers are 20-10 (14-6) right now and are also on a two-game winning streak as they are coming off an 81-72 home win on Saturday against the Cleveland State Vikings. These programs met twice during the regular season with the Raiders picking up both wins.

The Wright State Raiders were able to dominate in the first round of the tournament as they picked up a 77-57 home win against the Green Bay Phoenix. They shot the ball at a great level as they were 29-of-56 (51.8 percent) overall, 9-of-19 (47.4 percent) from three, and 12 free-throw attempts. Freshman forward Brandon Noel led the team as in 34 minutes he finished with 20 points, 16 rebounds, one assist, two blocks, and two steals. Defensively, they did decently well as they allowed 36.4 percent from the floor and 32 percent from deep here. Wright State could have done better as they finished with two steals and four blocks throughout the game after forcing six turnovers. 

The Wright State Raiders are dominating this season on the offensive side of the floor as they are 20th in the nation with 69.3 points per game thus far and shooting an outstanding 50 percent from the floor and are averaging 15.1 assists per game. Defensively, they are doing extremely poorly at 73.3 points per game, which is 275th in the country. They have been causing issues at a decent rate with 2.9 blocks and 6.2 steals per game thus far.
